1 Peter 3:21 reminds us that our baptism “corresponds” to
the Noah story in Genesis 9. A flood of God’s mercy, through Christ’s death
and resurrection, confronts our sin and frees our conscience for new life. Like
we sang Sunday afternoon at 4:30 worship, “My chains are gone I've been set
free; My God my Savior has ransomed me; And like a flood His mercy reigns;
Unending love amazing grace.” Where do you need the flood of God’s grace today?
Where do you long to see the wildness of God’s love splashed about in your
life?
