Jesus is coming back! And when Jesus does come back, he’s
not going anywhere. His home will be with us. “He will wipe away every tear
from [our] eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning,
nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things [will] have passed away.”
(Rev. 21:4) The story of humanity and the planet will end with the totality of
Jesus’ reign on earth as it is in heaven.
In the meantime, we prepare ourselves, our communities, and
our world for the kind of reign that Jesus will bring. That’s what’s behind
this weekend’s Mission Blitz. Like last year, we’ll gather as one big
church family on Sunday morning February 24. Doors open at 8:45. We’ll worship
together briefly at 9:00 in Celebration Hall, then continue our worship by
serving the community starting at 9:15. It’s going to be a great day that you
won’t want to miss!
