Dear Church:
Two couples who normally worship at 9:00 a.m. disembarked
their cruise ship at 10:30 Sunday morning. They drove straight to CLPC in time
for 11:15 a.m. worship – wearing jeans and all. They are committed to the “52”
challenge (52 weekends of worship in 2013). A young father who commutes to
work on the Metro uses his time on the bus for Scripture reading and prayer.
He’s committed to the “10/10” challenge (10 minutes of Scripture reading
and 10 minutes of prayer every day).
Do you have a “52” or “10/10” story to share? I’d love to
hear it!
This weekend we’ll see how Daniel’s 10/10 habit got him in
big trouble with the king. Study Daniel 6:1-18 in anticipation of this
weekend’s worship.
