Thanks youth and adults from one of the CLPC work crews for letting me use your mugs in my video! These guys worked really hard and blessed a number of people with their efforts.

I think most of us who have witnessed the destruction in Kemah, Seabrook, up Clear Creek and other places around the upper bay would have to conceed that The Storm won round one. However, watching the People of the Way in action has given me a picture of of God's care, compassion and companionship. He is indeed, "The Lord of the Storm" (Psalm 29).
When we came home from the hurricane and saw the damage to the area it was shocking. Then when I saw this video at the Saturday night service and Phillip sang this song. It literally brought tears to my eyes. Thinking of so many that had just lost so much. Then the next week going through Ross's surgery this song kept coming in my head anytime I felt down or tired. It was an awesome service and the song was so fitting. Thankfully our God doesn't abandon us in the storms of life!! He hears our crys!!
